loving it, but it must be pretty old looking at how tall it is

Here’s mine. It’s also where I work in the daytime, so if I want to make music I have to pack away my work laptop/stand/keyboard/mouse and get out my funtime laptop. We have 2 young children, so making music is about squeezing 30-45 minutes into the day somewhere. I usually just grab a couple of pedals and a guitar or cassette player and just fine a vibe and record it quickly.

I’m doing jamuary here if you want to see how I’m getting on. https://www.instagram.com/myeline.ldn/

I have a norns shield arriving any day now

That is an amazing case situation for your Octatrack and Eurorack. How’d you go about that?

I share a work from home office with my girlfriend. Her photo stuff is on the other side of the room you can’t see in this picture. In addition to music, I sometimes do my day job on this desk (nonprofit admin) and my weekend job (Zoom teaching sociology at a uni).

This corner of my house is where I feel most at home. Not sure what that means about my work life balance, lol.

it looks like a flight case for a rack mount mixer + synthrotek(?) 84hp rack + rack ears for the octatrack, just my guess though

all this! i don’t know the brand of the eurorack rails, it was given to me but seems DIY. The octa rackears are very pricey

That looks like a wonderful space to create in. I love the monitor on the wall. I’ve been thinking of something similar.

What a wonderful thread! Always nice to see how people utilise a tiny space. First time poster here, I felt the urge to share and join in the thread. I am lucky enough I have a room, albeit a tiny one 3m x 3m. My issue is hording: kids toys for circuit bending, eurorack, DIY, guitar pedals - I need to board out the attic really. Thanks for the inspirational environments, maybe one day I’ll tidy up too!

Thanks! It’s connected to a mac mini that’s just running Reaktor or VCV Rack, and Reaktor/VCV are connected via a dedicated ES-8 in the case on the left.

having it on the wall is nice for saving space, but impractical ergonomically. Lots of sore neck if I look at it too long. I wouldn’t recommend using it as your main.

I figured that having it on the wall would present some ergonomic issues. Like you I’m looking to save desk space, but not at the expense of my neck. I guess I’ll find another solution.

I have a Fully Jarvis monitor arm, and it does the trick perfectly. Highly recommended for saving the desk space without compromising ergonomics.

seconded, I bought one a few months ago and it’s been great to tweak for optimal ergonomics while being able to free up space on my desk.

edit, I looked down and I have a Vivo but the sentiment still applies.

That’s probably the route I’ll take. I wasn’t familiar with Fully. They’ve got some nice looking stuff.

All of your corners are wonderful! Hope to move and have a better one soon myself.
My little corner is under my bed, in a room that is 2.4 m x 1.44 (i can touch parallel walls opening my arms)
Today i managed to put my hackintosh under the desk so i can finally have space for norns and grid.

Now i really can’t buy anything else! I don’t have space!

I’ve been meaning to share my space for a while, I was thinking “just when I finish my Norns case”, or “just when I finish those last couple of modules off”… however, now I’ve started converting a camper van to live in, those things might be a little further off! Anyway, here’s my little space :relaxed:

please update with camper van pics! :slightly_smiling_face:

Wow, yours covers two corners at the same time!

My relatively compact set up. Had to go for verticality to fit everything in!

What case(s) are you using for eurorack?
