I wanted to share our latest project as Thet Liturgiske Owäsendet, a drone/ambient duo based in southern Sweden. For 100 days we will record one track per day. It’s all collected in a playlist on Youtube (link below) and when the project is finished we will release all the music as a “pay what you want” album on Bandcamp.
We wanted to explore a more direct way of approaching production where each track is recorded and mixed without the normal hesitation and over thinking that often comes into play.

As a common theme spanning across the whole thing is the concept of “sleep”. Some tracks might be functional music that aids relaxation while others wander towards channeling dreams.

Been keeping track, wonderful stuff. It’s a big challenge - how have you found working in this way? What are your plans in terms of setup?

p.s. been listening since the LSS release, vicim stuff as well. Might be some of my favourite music out there at the moment :slight_smile:

In terms of setup it’s pretty much grab what you have at hand and what sparks creativity. For instance a couple of tracks where made on the road using only Ableton, others an OP-1 and a couple of pedals. VCV Rack. Eurorack. Norns / Grid… The project is a way to challenge ourselves, learn stuff along the way and be able to lock back and reflect.
