Anyone want to help a noob upgrade firmware on my ansible?

Read the instructions several times and quite frankly doing way too much googling to try and get it figured out. Maybe i need it more explained like I’m 5.

Also doesn’t help that I have no idea what I am doing in Command Prompt.

I have all of the dfu files and ansible hex file saved to the desktop. thanks for any help!

with the dfu folder, take note of the location where its being placed.

The whole idea is to “direct” command prompt to look into the dfu folder where the dfu-programmer.exe file is and also the module hex file, using “cd” command follow by the location of dfu folder.

once done, we can make use of the commands listed on http://monome.org/docs/modular/update/ to do the updating.

These screen shots show the process when dfu folder is on desktop or d drive.

The last one to type, “dfu-programmer at32uc3b0256 start”, after pressing enter, the computer will sound out the disconnected device tone and command promt will go on to the next line. At this point, can unplug usb cable, power reset the module and everything should be good to go
