using a colemak keyboard with norns [solved]

Hi, I’d like to use a colemak layout USB keyboard with my norns but there doesn’t seem to be any built in support for the layout.
Is there some way I can use this keyboard with norns or add a new layout to norns?

The process of adding a new keymap was outlined in the response to the GitHub issue which seems identical to this query - or is this a different question?

This would be a great place to start for contributors to the core code base!
