I was very excited to find this thread: I built up a 40h kit in about 2008/9, and would be delighted to give it a new lease of life.

I’m pretty confident with a soldering iron, and am confident to flash a control chip, so could be up for testing.

Might be late to the game here but I have a 128 I could test with. I’ll do whatever it takes to get this to fruition!! Would love to get this thing back in action

Hello

I have all the parts now, and will be assembling the first 50 when I’m back from the family Christmas holiday.

Hope you all are well
Merry Christmas

Nice to see progress on this @stevieraysean! Are you still working on the firmware updates or is that work done? You mentioned up thread that this would be one of the trickiest parts of the project…

I thought I had 4 step vari bright grids, but it turns out I have two series 64s.
Please put me in line for 2 upgrades. Located in Oklahoma. I’m confident in my soldering abilities, but I have no experience or gear for the programming aspect.

When the time comes, anyone in the U.S. want to add a couple more grids to their upgrade pile? Feel free to message me.
