that sounds like quite a bit of stress.
my take is: you had the idea and started this whole thing, you should also be the one that gets the pleasure and merit of completing it.
and if that’s next week or the week after really doesn’t matter.

Sounds horrible man (Victorian house)? Similar happened to ours, ceiling caved in while we were sleeping! Builders were great and sorted it quickly. Best wishes for your repairs. Lcrp can wait.

I think we can do it right. I don’t know if anyone is hosting a LCRP profile for a streaming site. I can make the final version of the art if you have the text for the names and the track titles that people want. That’s the only thing that I was waiting on on the graphics side. A version of that can be exported for any other online place / bandcamp / what have ya. Don’t worry too much about this. Still working out a streamlined system, I myself haven’t really had time to enjoy creating and exploring.

@simeon, @angrycow, on the topic of names: if still possible, please change mine for lcrp from “my echolalia” to “brahminy kite” instead. did a couple of things under that name and inventing a new one just to be consistent with user name on the forum seem stupid now. track name stays the same. ok?

i’ve setup soundcloud groups both for lcrp and for the lines community in general, as the existing mcrp and monome groups might be too specific to the old forum and grid-focused.

if we wanted to put a proper album together, we’d need access to the mcrp account on bandcamp, or start a new one for lcrp. all the other community remix projects are on the mcrp bandcamp; i assume that’s where @Simeon plans to put this album, too, so i’m willing to wait a bit.

See that’s the thing. I don’t know most of the track names… That’s why I was waiting for our host… he collected the tracks. He mentioned some changes a while back and I decided to hold off on the print materials until there was a full set. Piece-mealing all of this information together will just make someone get left out… almost guaranteed… But I’m sure we can share them into the SoundCloud group that some other folk here have set up… I feel with everyone here… except for the baby having home-owners… weirdos…

Right, mother huggers. Firstly, Apologies. No excuses. I’ve been in a bad place, my house has been falling down around me, and I have 2 jobs and 3 kids, but I really should have pulled my shit together before now. Like seriously, how long have I been putting this off for now? Worst part is I really enjoy this, but I’ve just had a whole “NO MUST DEAL WITH IMPORTANT THINGS!” mindset. Anyhow. It’s now happening. Tonight. :smiley:

I’ve just started work on the collation, mastering for vinyl, etc tonight and you should have the band camp version up with temporary artwork tonight. Once I’ve got the final artwork through I’ll add it to band camp and qrates.

I’ve now got to go through my emails and messages because some bright fucker named their file “lcrp”. Yeah. Good going. :stuck_out_tongue:

At long last.

I’ve put deep bass frequencies to mono on all tracks (for vinyl) and levelled out some volumes, so what you hear is what we could maybe potentially get on vinyl.

Let me know if I’ve made any mistakes (i mean on the album. I’ve made plenty of life mistakes)

@Angrycrow - thanks for your patience. If you can send me through the visuals, I’ll replace the holder visual on band camp and get this baby uploaded to qrates!
