Fantastic. I’ll double check the art real quick and make sure that it’s good to go. Gotta change the order and add the track names. Just a minute… The side labels will be the same.

Here is the new cover art :

Much better… (Post must be at least 20 characters)

Oh… on the mix(takes)… the mid-high zone distorts ( may also be my fault ) … I’d love for that not to break peoples ears… Just… a few … -(3to5)dB if you got em in that zone… please…

Also let me know if you need specific files for Qrates… I know the cover is good to go… Hopefully all else will also fly.

the only thing I see for my song info on the cover is I’d prefer the artist name to be “Coordinator” and the song title “field tines / sled slower”
sorry for the miscommunication looking forward to listening to this while I read about peter B’s new synth on the horizon

@angrycrow - thanks for your efficient work! artwork on bandcamp updated (it has to be square) and I’ll get qrates sorted soon. On your track I haven’t eq’d or comp’t at all - just changed the stereo field and normalised. At risk of teaching my grannie to suck eggs, it may be your listening set up (ducks as angrycrow throws something and defends his bose speakers and relays). :stuck_out_tongue: I’ll replace it when I have time, anyhow, but it might be a bit lower than the track before and after it. Anyhow I purposefully try to break people’s ears - you should be proud! :stuck_out_tongue:

@wednesdayayay - So sorry, you had said, but I was confused by the two titles. :frowning: now updated.

@tehn - thanks, promo via email would be lovely - I’ll get the qrates thing soon too - hopefully could get us closer to our goal. From one beardo to another, you are a beautiful man.

Everybody - Sorry, I don’t think I said GREAT WORK - you are all stunning artists who have done this community proud.

Hmmm… Maths geeks! a puzzle for you:

Qrates only cuts up to 19:30 per 12 inch. The album is under 39 minutes, BUT I can’t seem to divide the tracks into two sides that add up to less than 19:30, and don’t want to make cuts. Can any maths geek run a model / use guess work to find a way?

Or we can try to release as a double lp, but costs increase exponentially (quality on sides with less on and less near the centre also increases!)

if i understood well: tracks: 1+3+4+8+9 equals 19:14
tracks 2+5+6+7+10 equals 19:07.

Had a chance to have a real good listen to the comp in its entirety. One thing that really stands out for me (aside from my lack of talent for mixing) is that the songs conjure up images of the outdoors and wide open spaces. I imagine that most, if not all, were created indoors in your “studio space” so I am always amazed that the tracks sound very full of life and organic in this way.

As an album I think all the songs really work well and compliment each other nicely. Favourites? Don’t want to embarrass anyone as all the songs are great, but I love declutter and Simeon’s tunes.

Once again, great work!

found this

I could potentially do a bunch more in a similar water marbling on rice paper style and send them to whoever gets the vinyl as an insert this was a tiny piece of one I did a while ago

I love little odds, ends and inserts with music anyone else?

100% !!!

longer than a twenty characters post!

I imagine we are doing at least 100 records if/when the qrates thing goes through
I’ll measure the paper today I think I have some that is really long

my christmas card this year (the paper marbling that is in the picture is the same size as the picture I posted above)

I made instructions, trinkets, introduction page, tiny versions of the card I sent that they could send, a self addressed envelope with already stamped so they could send me something back, and a sheet of “barbie cards” (the small cards that look just right for a barbie)

there are several things not shown there but this is the kind of thing I love with my home made music little bits that are endowed with meaning upon their selection and then trying to reinforce the theme which lines is a fairly broad theme so this should be easy

of course I could also see at a certain point this may not fall into “line” with some submitters idea of minimalism which is often attached as a theme when dealing with monome related issues

so if this goes in the wrong direction for you speak up
I would be willing to at least provide a bunch of the water marbled rice paper as I said

something to cut and fold would be fun (you know the paper house models?)
