Yeah, closer to completion I’ll message Red about vinyl, but as it stand I kinda like the Qrates idea - if every artists buys a couple of copies and we get a little interest from webs, it happens, if not, well no problem no one is out of pocket.

A lot of people contributed financially to the cassettes when I did that MCRP, and it was fun and all, but such a lot of work.

Previous ones have had a loose 30sec limit. I’m more a fan of a sound or a phrase rather than half an hour of noodling.

So, my samples are done … had to stop myself writing a track with them already :wink:

Anyway, I’ve got 3 complementary samples, 1 rhythmic, plus 2 drones in the key of grey, all at a somnambulant 90 BPM.

Comes to 31 MB zipped.

I killed my Dropbox and Google Drive accounts a while ago (thanks NSA!), so I’m not sure of the best way to send these at the moment. I didn’t want to just e-mail 31 MB (or 3 x 10MB files) without warning.

I’m a Logic user, so I’ve just signed up for the horribly-named-but-potentially-very-useful Gobbler service, and I could send an invite to my “workspace” there if that’s OK. Free for now. Seems simple and easy.

I’ve also started using BitTorrent Sync, so I could share that way as well.

Any other suggestions?

Won’t update the first post because I’ve had a lot in my inbox, but everyone who has posted I’ve received.

I’m busy tomorrow night and Friday, so I won’t be looking at getting these collated until Saturday, so people who are late, feel free to send things in tomorrow and fri! And anyone else who wants to join, get involved!
