What are you listening to?

Caught a chunk of “On the Reach of Explanations” on local radio, haven’t been grabbed that hard in a while. Not sure if the number of hours I’ve spent trying to piece together what it was in the meantime is an indicator of poor research skills or real dedication.

Just received Colleen’s new album on Vinyl so I’m listening to it right now. I owe her music so much. Here’s a glimpse of what it sounds like, I think it’s incredible. (It’s her “first time” with a full electronic setup, which basically means a septavox and a pocket piano).

Was a great performance. They’re truly a powerful trio. Högberg, a force majeure, bracing herself - playing with the whole of her body.!

See them if you get the chance.

Great choice. I’ve been listening to his stuff for a bit now and every time I discover something new and wonderful. It’s breathtaking work.

I gotta admit, from iron works to dark ambient is a long shot. It being fake is believable.

Megan Alice Clune - new release of performances from the 2016 Next Wave festival. Incredibly dense ambient music that uses the reverb of the auditorium to build each 5 hour piece over 4 days.
