always a pleasure to hear John Tilbury play piano, especially, in this case, with a creative saxophone player

So glad to return to this yesterday, I think it’s been at least ten years:

I’ve been returning to these end of 2017 Mego releases throughout the year.

Also been listening to this jaunty melodic electronic stuff with a bunch of clean guitar… Don’t know if anyone knew Carpet Bomb records from the late 90s?

Cools down like popping into the cold storage on a hot summer day (with or without hangover)

#2627

Oh, to find this on vinyl  Abdul Wadud, solo cello ‘jazz’.

Daniel Schmidt - And The Darkest Hour Is Just Before The Dawn

#2631

Not unrelated to the Daniel Schmidt, very much enjoying the new Mark Fell

#2632

Thanks – Schmidt is one of my favorites. So glad all of these forgotten minimalists continue to be discovered! While much of this material is 40+ years old, the revival is still for me the best thing going with music right now.
