Boards of Canada’s mix on Warp’s NTS takeover is just as good as you could hope for. Sounds like some unreleased “interludey” tracks sprinkled in with other people’s tunes. Really hope someone posts a rip of this sometime…

another version (same event, different recording) of Aphex Twin’s Barbican performance in 2012. it begins with the swinging piano piece, the effect of the (what seems like variable) tension on the piano strings is more apparent in this recording, as well as any noticeable (?) Doppler effect

I’ve recorded it and will up tomorrow. I’m waiting for ae to finish and won’t get around to splitting the audio this evening (editing audio at gone midnight on a school night will win me no friends in this house, alas

wooooah this is real good.
while i’m a little embarrassed that i didn’t hear Out of the Blue sooner, clearly i’m hearing it at exactly the right time. beautiful compositions on the verge of pop, really perfect choice of instrumentation and vocalists, the most into an album i’ve been in months. gotta check out more of the Lovely catalog, so far everything i’ve heard from them has blown my mind
