Hell yeah for the Brun. When I was in grad school for percussion I had a chance to perform “More Dust with Percussion” which really set the tone for the rest of my studies.

quiet, kinda dub-like, slow-shifting collages, w/a pleasing variety of tones and timbres. just noticed “ciat-lonbarde” is one of the tags

Thanks for the heads-up! I came across their music via the CL forum on MuffWiggler a while ago and liked what I heard - and, prompted by this post, I’ve just checked out their Bandcamp and see they have a new album out, which is also CL focused…

Finally caved and paid a lot to get the CD… It’s really amazing!

I think Minimalism is his most cerebral imo.

The track with Shuren The Fire is a fave - takes me back to the Hidenka collaboration

Just discovering Roland Kayn----holy hell this guy’s work is amazing.

Cinderella’s “Long Cold Winter”. * Tom Keifer is a seriously underrated musician.

Every few years I remember that https://radio.garden/ exists. It lets you listen to radio streams from all over the world via a 3d globe interface.

Hell yeah it does…at least thats what I thought when I just heard Shahmaran(what an captivating music video)…I was like hmmm this is a bit dated…but then it really blended with the contemporary beautifully. Excited to get diving into this album.

I recently discovered this artist. Ticks off all the boxes for me.

I’ve had Superchunk On the Mouth (various songs from it) running through my head, after listening to it one night last week. It’s so ingrained… just a perfect album. Today, though:

I heard “China Steps” playing in a local record store (has since closed), and purchased the CD on the spot

I really love the new Kim Gordon record, it feels so fresh and I’m so surprised it’s her first fully solo effort. Here’s a short clip of my favorite song, the full one is only on Spotify/Apple Music/iTunes/etc.

Also dig the new Eartheater album (mixtape?). This song sounds like a t.A.T.u song dragged through the snow.
