anyone in this world have album reccomendations (esp synth, electronic, field recordings etc) that are in direct conversation to a place? i am working on a project right now as a response to an enviroment, one track will be field recordings and the other an ambient track, im building up a catelogue of album’s doing a similar thing to help when i feel stuck…

Jacob Kirkegaard deliberately picked rooms that were once active meeting points for people. … By listening to the silence of the four radiating spaces he aims to unlock a fragment of the time existing inside the zone.
…In each room he made a recording of 10 minutes and then played the recording back into the room, recording it again. This process was repeated up to ten times. As the layers got denser, each room slowly began to unfold a drone with various overtones."

I was going suggest that one! (bragging a little - I got 2 copies of this on vinyl, spent like .50 cents a piece on them. I didn’t realize the album was a thing until the bandcamp re-release came out.)
