i was playing around with scale mode, and it seems there’s maybe something wrong with it? i was playing a sequence supposedly in Aeolian, or 6th grade, but i couldn’t play a minor chord over it, it seemed like mixolidian, attached a tuner to the osc and it gave me a Bb (over C) for the 7th, but it plays an E as the third, so it is actually behaving as a Mixolidian scale. Rest seemed ok but once i checked all the modes it started behaving oddly, like getting stuck on the chromatic or the Major scale.
Did anyone had similar experiences?
