Very nice! Do you mind telling what the sample is?

EDIT: unsure if that is your video.

Can’t wait for mkii.

@modulationindex Will it be aUv3? (Sorry if answered) Any idea on an ETA? And will it be an update or new app? I’m gettin it either way; just curious. Thanks so much! One of the best music apps.

Sugar Bytes has ported their Factory VST. Insanely flexibile modulation routing and osc / filter options but very digital (presets play to the EDM market). The standalone app anyway is free for the ocassional sampler snacks.

cool, yes…
i made this track and video

track made with a simple model 15 sample i made (roseta collider driven) in AUM, then through borderlands

video made by me using cinematic on iphone
(the record button at the top in borderlands will record any moves
then play the moves back
the rec out button on the bottom right
creates an audio file of what sounds are being made, the video and track are not in sync = video art more that straight documentation)

thx :slightly_smiling_face:

Best drone/noise app I’ve used is hexaglyphics!

It’s free, and very mysterious🔮

This just recently dropped and is 50% off (2.99) as a launch price. I have no need for another tape delay, I thought, but gave a listen anyway… and now I’m 2.99 lighter and my iPad is one tape delay heavier

I feel like this is kinda relevant, he uses Instagram on his iPhone as a sound source

Agree, but it is really good isn’t it?

Just wanted to say thanks for this thread, which inspired me to go full-iOS on my Disquiet Junto track this week:

(Microphone ->) AudioShare -> ReSlice -> AUM -> Autony -> Cubasis 2 -> AudioShare (-> SoundCloud).

What do you do on the cubasis step?

The AUM session yielded two parallel tracks, and I used Cubasis 2 to combine them (“mixdown”), and then transferred to AudioShare so I could post to SoundCloud.

You likely already know this, but in case you don’t, in AUM, you can send your tracks to a Mix bus and then send that Mix bus to a “master” track. When you record that master track, you end up with a stereo mix, which shows up in Audio Share. AUM is such a great tool.

Thanks. Can that be done after you’ve recorded the individual tracks, or only during the initial recording process?

Depending on what you’re after exactly, either. There are often times where I will record tracks and then play them back using a file player and add other tracks that way.

Yes, my recent contribution to the Disquiet Junto project was all made on the iPad. As my audio interface went belly up I ended up using the iPad microphone to record all the live trumpet. The editing was done using AudioShare and I used Hokusai 2 for time stretching. Percussion loop was done in Patterning 2 (which is the first time I’ve had to really dig into it and it is superb!). Everything was put together in Cubasis. I used the K7D tape delay on the drones and the live trumpet track.

Oh, cool. I hadn’t thought of that way to manage it. Thanks!

It’s beautiful! I feel that it’s the most straight-forward of the tape delay plugins I have, yet it’s also possibly the most musical, which is no mean feat!
