out today on slowcraft records(based out of London) Your Voice In Pieces | Landtitles | Slowcraft Records
minimal, electro-acoustic, ambient compositions, employing acoustic and synthetic sounds, microphones, amps, room tones, and field recordings based in victoria bc
I finished this album up late last year, and although this was recorded in part in 2020 I wouldn’t call it a quarantine album, as the initial compositions were started earlier, I think…ha
composed with a Waldorf blofeld, and Roland jp-08, acoustic guitar and dulcimer. field recordings in and around our home, parks and family were used, later processed, or not
employed many analog and digital process, lots of tape loops and bouncing to cassette and digital processing by time stretching/shifting in reaper. also a fair bit of akira rebelais’s Argeïphontes Lyre software was also used. a weird and wild thing this one
