I’m autistic. I run the Responsive Ecologies Lab at Ryerson University. I’m researching sound and learning and I teach about learning about sound in relation to adults who will work with young children.
I’m exploring Norns as a back end to developing tools for children to explore sound based on their own engagement with the physical world around them… not adult ideas about what they should be doing.
Present project is a Sonic Throwable Object that I hope to get done this year. It’s nothing like the commercial thing that just came out.
